2. Whole grains

Dr. Bredesen, a neurologist with the upcoming book, The End of Alzheimer’s Program, has suggested taking as little carbohydrates as possible; such as pasta and white rice. He states that the risk of getting Alzheimer’s increases as simple carbohydrates are associated with metabolic syndrome. As it comes in a lot of different forms, it is suggested to aim for having at least 3 servings a day.

3. Nuts
Nuts are, in general, a good source of fat, protein, and fiber. Mostly, the fat in the nut is monounsaturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, Omega 3, as well as Omega 6. 4. Olive oil
